This painting was inspired by my time in Colorado and being close to the river in the mountains. I wanted to have the stones flow as if there were water flowing through them like a river. In Colorado the river flows year-round and never stops, all my life going to the river it was a constant flow. Thus, the name Continued Journey. Our lives are like the water, continuing on our paths. A constant continuance just like our journey here on earth, further connecting us to nature and with the stones used.

Quartz Crystal: 

Wonderful multi use stone. Enhances energy of all other stones and metals. Harmonious and powerful. Aids communication. Sign of Entire Zodiac.

Agate: Protection, Strength, Harmony. Agate’s most noticeable properties  overall are balancing yin/yang energy, courage, protection, healing, and calming.

Agate is a stone of strength. It was used by the Ancients on the breastplates of armor to give warriors strength and make them victorious in battle. Energetically, it is considered to give strength in both battle and physically. Agate enhances creativity and strengthens the intellect, making it a beneficial stone for both students and artists. It is also known as a good luck stone. As a stone of harmony, one of the things agate does is balance yin/yang energy. Agate increases energy. However, because it is a grounding stone, it does not increase energy at all times, but rather enables bursts of energy as needed. In this way, agate is a conservation stone, and enhances longevity.

Tranca Geodes:

These geodes have Florescence Mineral properties to them where when under a Shortwave Black light they light up in a multitude of neon colors.

The light from these ultraviolet lamps reacts with the chemicals of a mineral and causes the mineral to glow; this is called fluorescence. If the mineral continues to glow after the light has been removed, this is called phosphorescence.
